Formal acid is an organic compound . The red ants, honey of bees , scorpions and hornets are found in the o 'War stings. After cutting and stinging these insects, a little acid is inserted into the body, so that place blossoms and starts to feel pain. In the first initiative, the red ants (Latin name 'Formica') were heated with water, and when they pulled the stem, the formic acid was found in it. That is why acid name was 'formal'.
