chlorine has two isotopes,viz,Cl-35 and Cl-37. Their atomic masses are 35 and 37 respectively . Their chemical properties are same . Where should these be placed in Mendeleev's periodic table ? In different places or in same place ? ​

In Mendleev's periodic table these elements were placed in different places or we can say different slot because Mendleev's periodic table is based on atomic masses.

But in modern periodic table this problem has solved because modern periodic table is based on atomic no.
