Chlorine water is yellow in color and it loses this color when exposed to sunlight. When chlorine water is exposed to sunlight, it produces an odorless and colorless gas called oxygen under STP conditions. Whenwater reacts with chlorine gas , it will form HCl and HClO in presence of sunlight
