Chloroform is brought in black coloured bottle .why?

In the presence of light, chloroform is oxidized by the air to form carbonyl chloride or phosgene and HCl, which is highly poisonous. Thats why,it is kept or stored in colored bottle to prevent it from oxidization keeping away from light.
