chloroplast contains chlorophyll which contain photon particles and these trap solar energy. Then the energy is converted for production of glucose and oxygen. The whole thing is divided in two processes (dark reaction and light reaction). This is basic knowledge. If you want to know more then buy a biology book of class x ICSE of srijan publication. It contains the whole thing.
