chocolates are distributed to passengers in airoplanes.why ? is it to maintain air pressure ??

because they thought if they distribut choclate they get happy and the choclate is provide is a medicine that maintains air pressure and helps the in respiration and fresh their mouth also..

to balance air pressure. You see az the height increase the air pressure in outer part of ear decrease so to balance that eustachian tube present inside ear lets some air out from the mouth and if we keep on chewing chocolates the more air goes out
