Grasshopper :

1.Appearance : Grasshoppers usually are a shade of brown,green or black.They have large hind legs that help them jump long distances,hence their name. Adult grasshoppers also have two sets of wings,with the forewings being slender and the hind wings large.

2.Sound : chirp sound.

3.Lifecycle : Egg-The life cycle of grasshoppers starts from the egg stage.

Nymph-Immediately after hatching, the young Nymphs start feeding on soft and succulent plant foliages.

Adult-After 25 to 30 days,the wings are developed completely and the Nymphs mature into adults.

4.Prey : Grasshoppers are prey of many species of bees,including beetles,rabid wolf spiders,dragonflies,field crickets and carpenter ants.
