Use of Present Perfect and Continuous tense:

  • The present tense represents the ongoing verb that is in the present moment. With the perfect tense, has/have been will be added along with the main verb. Similarly, when we have to make it continuous in nature the verb will be added in the -ing format.
  • Some sentences include the simple present tense form of the verb in it, and some contain the present perfect tense. The examples are (1), (3), (8), (9) & (4), (10).
  • The present continuous verb has -ing in it along with a helping verb in it. Examples include (6) & (7)
  • Lastly, questions (2) & (5) are sentences in the past tense.
