we Know,
Gravitational potential inside the spherical shell and the surface of spherical shell is constant. So, potential gradient will be zero at the surface of spherical shell .
Hence, Gravitational intensity will be zero at the surface of the spherical shell .
due to symmetry nature ,
After cutting upper part , gravitational force acting on downard in the hemispherical shell. Hence, Gravitational intensity acts downward inside the hemispherical shell or the surface of hemispherical shell.

As point P lies on the surface of hemispherical shell . so, direction of Gravitational intensity will be downward .

Hence, option (ii) e is correct.
