    Precipitation is any frozen or liquid water which forms within the atmosphere and falls/drops on the Earth. Precipitation take place when a part of the atmosphere is saturated with water vapour, such that the water condenses and precipitates. There are several different forms of precipitation such as rain, hail, sleet, and snow.

   Rains are drops of liquid water dropping from the clouds when water vapour condenses about the dust particles in the clouds, making minute droplets that ultimately get too large for the cloud to retain, therefore they fall on the Earth, becoming larger as they accumulate more water on their path down.
