There are two basic types of
transcripts in transcription. They are full verbatim and clean verbatim.
Full
Verbatim
The text has to be transcribed
exactly as it sounds in full verbatim. It includes all the utterances of the
speakers. Speech errors, false starts, filler words, slang words, stutters and
repetitions are included in it.
Clean Verbatim
In this the transcribed text does
not include speech errors, false starts, filler words, and slang words are not
included.
