Vectors a-b & a+b will be mirror images of each other with vector a as mirror axis.

Magnitude of each of the vectors a+b & a-b is

a*(2)^1/2.

Angles of a+b vector & a-b vector are +45 & -45 degrees resp. with respect to vector a.
