REQUIRED ANSWERS ✍️:-

(D) Both Statement- 1 and Statement- 2 are true.

WHY?

For Statement- 1, when we take out the square root of decimal numbers, we either use the long division method or we just convert the decimals into fractions where the numerator and denominator are perfect squares and then we take out the square root of the numerator and denominator so that we get a simplified fraction and convert it back to decimal form. So, the statement  is true.

For statement- 2, the (26.1)^2= 681.21. It lies between 400 & 900 i.e.

400< 681.21< 900. So, this statement  is also true.
