Explanation ;

Friction is  a necessary evil  with which we walk .
Friction depends on nature of surface. Smooth surface produces less friction.
Friction also depends on Weight.. If two objects are pressed hard .. Interlocking will be more hence more friction.
Always in overcoming friction , energy is wasted.

Friction between the two surfaces depends upon two factors:
1. Nature Of Surfaces:
Force of friction depends upon the roughness and the smoothness of the two surfaces sliding against one another. It the surfaces are smooth, they easily slide against each other as there will be less interlocking between them. However, if the surfaces are rough, more force is required to move surfaces against each other. Hence there will be more force of friction.
2. Force Between Two Surfaces:
It also depends upon how much force is applied to move one surface over another. For example take two blocks weighing 1 kg and 5 kg. Thus more force is required to move heavier block as compared to lighter block. Thus friction of 5 kg block will be more then 1 kg block.
