Now, As per as the question, chord intersects internally.

We know that if the chord intersects internally then the products of the segments of the chords are equals.

∴ AE × EB = CE × DE

⇒ 5.6 × 10 = 8 × DE

⇒ DE = 56/8

⇒ DE = 7

Therefore ED=7
