so, AB=CD

(chords that subtends equal angles at the centre are equal)

=CD=8cm

As,OP Perpendicular CD

(given)

So, CP=DP

(Perpendicular from centre to a chord

bisect the chord)

=CP=1/2 XCD

=CP=1/2 x8

=CP=4cm.
