The poem ‘Another Woman’ has been written by Imtiaz Dharker. She has depicted the life of a common lady who is a homemaker.

The poetess says that that morning the lady purchased green leafy vegetable ‘methi’ from the market. Next she picked up a radish and thought about how sharp it would taste. But she kept it back thinking that she would have to spend her husband’s money to buy it. She tied the money in the lose end of her sari.

She headed home thinking that then she had to face her cruel mother in law’s angry looks. Meanwhile she chopped the leaves and her hands got stained from the juice.
