Once upon a time there was a poor woodcutter. One day he went to cut wood in the forest.Accidently his axe slioped into the river.The river at that spot was very deep. The woodcutter tried hard but he could not find his axe. He felt so sad that he began to cry.Hearing his cry,the sea god appear and took pity on him.He told"dont worry. I will bring ur axe ,"and dived into the river.
After some time ,the sea god came out with an gold axe and offered to the woodcutter.
The wooiddcutter said,thats not mine. I can't take it .once again the sea god dived in the river and came with a silver axe the honest woodcutter said thatats not my axe.
So the sea god dived into the sea again the third time and this time he brought with him a crude axe made of iron.
That's it cried the woodcutter joyfully and rushed to the sea god to take it.
The sea god was pleased with the poor man's honesty. He gave him both the golden and silver axe as reward for his honesty.
