Hey there !!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Butane is an alkane with 4 carbons.
Formula of Alkanes is of the form CₓH₂ₓ₊₂
x denotes number of carbons
Butane : C₄H₈₊₂ = C₄H₁₀
C₄H₁₀ has 3 Carbon-Carbon bonds and 10 Hydrogen-Hydrogen Bonds
Total Covalent bonds = C-C bonds + H-H bonds
= 3+10 =13 bonds
C₄H₁₀ has 13 covalent bonds.
