1) meat: vegetable: fruit = 4:1:3

Meat = 25 Dirham

Le the cost of vegetable be x dirham

Then,

Their ratio is: 4x:x:3X

Here meat = 4x

4x = 25

x = 6.25 dirham

∴ Cost of vegetables = 6.25 dirhams

Cost of meat = 6.25*4 = 25 dirham

Cost of fruit = 6.25*3 = 18.75 dirham

Total cost = 6.25+25+18.75

= 50 dirham

2) If Chris pays 50 Dirhams then he wouldn't get any change as he submitted the full amount.
