Chromosomal network can not be stained by B) Crystal violet.

Crystal violet fails to stain the chromosomal network but using the other techniques like Haematoxylin, Carmine and Feulgen stain the staining of the chromosomes can be performed easily.

For example, the chromosome of yeast can be stained using Feulgen stain technique.
