there are two types of chromosomes :-

1.Autosomes .
2.sex chromosomes.

Autochromosomes are same in both paternal and in maternal.

sex chromosomes are different sets.

Chromosomes are the heridetary vehicles which carry genes.

There are three major chromosomes

• metacentric

• anacentric

• telocenctric

One another :-

Sum metacentric

All these types of chromosomes are based on the position of centromere.

Metacentric:-

The centromere is present at the center of chromosome

• anacentric :-

Lenght of chromatid(sister chromatin) is not equal

• telocenctric :-

Centromere is present at the tail of the chromosome.
