the effects are drastic on human health on long term basis
for example jaundice tb Cancer elephantiatis

the chronic disease develop gradually and last for long durations even up to the several years to life long . They can't be cured completely . their symptoms are mild but have severe effect on person health.. eg. T.B, b.p, liver infection etc.
