Akbar was the son of Humayun. His full name was Jalal -Uddin Akbar. He ruled for more than 50 years. Like his grandfather Babur, he was dynamic. He loved sports, especially hunting. He was born in 1542 at Umerkot in Sindh during Humayun's exile. When Humayan died, Akbar was only thirteen and in Punjab. He married the daughter of a Rajput prince of Amber in 1562.

She converted to Islam, taking the name Mariam Zamani, and was the mother of Salim(Jahangir). . He always called many representatives of many faiths at his court and discussed religious matters with them and always said them to bring something good about their religion and then one day, he thought that why don't I combine all the good things of every religion and then make a new religion called Din-e-ilahi(Divine Faith). One group was deeply upset by Akbar was the "ulema" who were shocked that their emperor has left orthodox Islam. He wanted his empire to be will governed, at peace and with little crime. He died in 1605.
