Answer:

Given diameter of a circle = 10 cm

Radius of the circle = diameter / 2 = 10cm / 2cm = 5cm

Perimeter of a quarter circle = 2 x r x {1 + ( π/4)}

= 2 x 5 x {1 + (3.14/4)}

= 2 x 5 x {1 + 0.78}

= 2 x 5 x 1.78

= 10 x 1.78

= 17.8 cm

Now, the area of the circle = πr²

= 3.14 x 5²

= 3.14 x 25

= 78.5 cm²

∴ Perimeter of the quarter circle = 17.8 cm

∴ Area of the circle = 78.5 cm²

Hope it helps you!
