OB=41cm....given

In triangle OPB

OP perpendicular to AB

Therefore angle P is 90 degree

OB×OB=OP×OP+PB×PB.....by therome pythagoras

41×41=OP×OP+40×40

1681=OP×OP+1600

OP×OP=1681-1600

OP×OP=81

taking square root on both side

OP = 9cm
