Circle with a centre P having radius 6 cm and
length of the chord is 9.6 cm then find the
distance of chord from the centre.​

By Pythagoras' Theorem :-

(Distance from chord)^2 = (6)^2-(4.8)^2

= 36 -23.04

= 12.96

= √12.96

Distance from chord = 3.6 cm
