We can imagine that circular well as a cylinder.

So, we know the formula for finding volume of a cylinder is πr²×h.

So, the given values are: Height=21 m; Radius= 1.5 m

Therefore, the volume of Earth dunged out= (22/7)×(1.5)²×21

                                                                       = (22/7)×(2.25)×21

                                                                       = 22×2.25×3

                                                                       = 49.5×3

                                                               Ans. = 148.5 m³
