Given,

Circumference of a circle = 66 cm

To Find,

The radius and diameter =?

Solution,

We can solve the question as follows:
It is given that the circumference of the circle is 66 cm.

We know,

Circumference = 2\pi r

66 = 2\pi r

From the above equation, we can find the radius.

66 = 2\pi r

\frac{66}{2}  = \pi r

33 = \pi r

33 = \frac{22}{7} r     (Since, \pi = \frac{22}{7})

33*\frac{7}{22}  = r

r = 10.5 cm

Hence, tha radius is 10.5 cm.

Now,

Diameter = 2r

Substituting the value of r in the above formula,

Diameter = 2r

        = 2*10.5

         = 21 cm

Hence, the radius of the circle is 10.5 cm and the diameter of the circle is 21 cm.
