Length of the equator on the surface of a globe = 88 cm
2πr = 88
2 x (22/7) x r = 88
r = 14

Radius of the globe = 14 cm

Surface area of the globe = 4πr2
= 4 x (22/7) x (14) x (14)
= 616 cm2.

Answer:

2πr = 88

2 × 22 × r = 88

7

44 × r = 88

7

r = 7 ×2

r = 14

CSA = 4πr^2

4 × 22 × 14^2

7

4 × 22 × 49

7

{[CSA = 616 sq cm]}
