Given:
Circumference of a wheel= 1.5 m
Total distance covered by wheel= 3 km
Circumference= Distance covered in 1 rotation=1.5 m
Total distance covered by wheel=3 km=3000 m
Number of rotations= Distance covered in rotation/ Circumference
= 3000/1.5
=30000/15
=2000 rotations
Hence, the Number of rotations= 2000

Solution :-
Given = Circumference of the wheel = 1.5 m
Total distance to be covered by the wheel = 3 km or 3000 m
Circumference of the wheel = distance covered in 1 rotation = 1.5 m
Total number of rotations = Total distance to be covered by the wheel/Circumference of the wheel
⇒ 3000/1.5
⇒ 2000 rotations
So 2000 rotations is the answer.
