Answer:

Volume=2052.50cm^3(approx)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since base of right circular cone is circle

Hence 2πr=88cm

radius(r)=44/π

On solving we get:

r=14cm

Now since height=10cm

Volume of right circular cone=\frac{1}{3}πr^2h

Put the values then we get

Volume=\frac{1}{3}*\frac{22}{7}*14^2*10

On solving we get:

Volume=2052.50cm^3(approx)

A right circular cone is a cone where the axis of the cone is the line intersecting the vertex with the center of the circular base. This means that the center of the circular base is connected to the apex of the cone and forms a right angle. A cone is a three-dimensional shape with a circular base and tapering smoothly to a point above the base. This point is known as the apex.

When working with geometry, we come across many geometric shapes. We usually learn about two-dimensional and three-dimensional figures in school. Two-dimensional shapes have length and width. For example, they can be drawn on paper – circle, rectangle, square, triangle, polygon, parallelogram, etc. Three-dimensional shapes cannot be drawn on paper because they have an additional third dimension such as height or depth. Examples of 3D shapes are sphere, hemisphere, cylinder, cone, pyramid, prism, etc.

Definition of a right circular cone

A right circular cone is one whose axis is perpendicular to the plane of the base. We can create a right cone by rotating a right triangle around one of its legs.

The line that joins the apex of the cone to the center of the base is the height of the cone. The length on the outer edge of the cone that connects the apex to the end of the circular base is the pitch height.
