Civil disobedience movement was one of the massive protest started in 1930 by Mahatma gandhi.
CIRCUMSTANCES LED TO CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE MOVEMENT :
☆ The main reason for the launching of civil disobedience movement was British imposing high taxes on salt.
☆ As, many people were suffered by the taxes because, it was an main ingredient in food.
☆ So, Mahatma Gandhi started March from his Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi with 70 followers.
☆ There he prepared his own salt and broken down the salt prepared by British.
☆ To reduce the taxes this movement started first.
The other reasons were:
☆ Going back of Simon Commission
☆ Irvine pact
☆ Round table conference of INC etc..
