There have been many incidents in my life where I learned the price of making a mistake. One such was an incident where I ended up becoming overconfident during application filling of universities. I was over confident that I would surely get into my desired university so I didn't apply to many places. Neither did I pay much attention to studying for the entry level test. I thought my straight A's would be enough to get in. To my dismay, I didn't get in and had to go with a temporary backup. This other university was offering media studies as a degree. I thought of opting for it because media and mass communication , "was the same". But, that's what I thought. In reality it wasn't and since I didn't do my research I got stuck in a degree that I never wanted to do.
