Correct Question : The Capacity of cuboidal tank is 50,000 litres of water. Find the breadth of tank if its length and depth are respectively 2.5 m and 10 m.

Solution : We have, Length = 2.5 m

Height = 10 m

Let the breadth of the tank is b meter.

Volume of the cuboid = 50,000 litres

Volume of the tank (length × breadth × height)

Volume of the tank = (2.5 × b × 10)\:m^{3}

= 25b\:m^{3}

Capacity of the tank = 25b\:m^{3}

= 25,000b litres

Therefore, 25,000b = 50,000

b = \sf\cancel\dfrac{50,000}{25,000}
