Aung San Suu Kyi was born in Yangon, Myanmar, in 1945.She is a Burmese social democratic stateswoman, politician and author who serves as the First State Counsellor and Leader of the National League for Democracy. She did her studies in abfoad and came back to myanmar in 1988. In 1989, the government placed Suu Kyi under house arrest, and she spent 15 of the next 21 years in custody for going against U ne win. In 1991, her ongoing efforts won her the Nobel Prize for Peace. Aung San Suu Kyi led the National League for Democracy (NLD) to a majority win in Myanmar's first openly contested election in 25 years in November 2015. Because of Suu Kyi's marriage to a British national, she remains constitutionally barred from the presidency. However, in April 2016 the position of state counsellor was created to allow her a greater role in the country's affairs. Suu kyi was a great inspiration for Democratic activists.

Aung San suu kyi an really awful and inspiring person of all time because she fought for the democratic government in her country that is Myanmar. Being a women also she never gave up for her country's goodness sake because Myanmar wasn't having the democracy in it prevailing in it. She was the one who literally fought for around about 15 years or so, so that the Myanmar would be a democratic country where people will select their own leader. She was even in House arrest because she raised her voice against the people there who were more overly interested in dictatorship. Nu-win was the dictator after the Myanmar got it's independence from the British rulers but even yet they had to struggle a lot because Myanmar went under dictatorship. Aung San Suu Kyi was born on 19th of June 1947. Aung San Suu kyi one of the most inspiring political leader was the first female Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar. Which is really great to been know a leader who struggled a lot for not her self but yet her whole country. Therefore i conclude that Aung San Suu kyi is a awful and stupendous leader of all time.
