the civil disobedience movement was the different from the non cooperation movement. the difference between these two movements are:-
1. the non cooperation movement was launched 1921 by Gandhiji but civil disobedience movement was launched in 1930.
2. the non cooperation movement was started with the middle class participation where does the civil disobedience movement was supported by the Industrialist live GD Birla.
3. due to Khalifa is business Muslim community participated in non cooperation on the large scale. but the growing proximity of the Congress Party and Hindu Mahasabha prevented the Muslims to participate in civil disobedience.
4. the non cooperation movement was withdrawn by Gandhiji due to the violent incident at chaurichaura but the civil disobedience movement was withdrawn in 1931 with Gandhi signed Gandhi Irwin Pact.

Non-Cooperation Movement :(a) The people were asked not to cooperate with the government
(b) Foreign goods were boycotted.
(c) Liquor shops were picketed.
(d) Foreign clothes were burnt in heape.
(e) In many places merchants and traders refused to trade on foreign goods or finance foreign traders.
(f) Students left the government owned schools and college.
(g) Lawyers gave up legal practices.
Civil Disobedience Movement :
(a) People were asked to break colonial laws.
(b) The countrymen broke the salt law.
(c) Peasants refused to pay revenue and chaukidari tax.
(d) Village officials resigned from their jobs.
(e) Forest people violated forest rules and laws
