Complex permanent tissuse are a group of more than one type of cells that have a common origin,and togehter as a unit.These are of two types:1.Xylem and 2.phloem.Xylem performs the function of conduction of water and minerals from the roots to the stem and leaves.It also provides mechanical strength to the plants.Xylem consits of 4 different types of cells.
1.Tracheids.
2.Vessels.
3.Xylem fibres.
4.Xylem parenchyma.
Phloem the second complex prmanent tissue that transports food materials from the leaves to the other parts.These consist of 4 parts:
1.Sieve tube.
2.Campanion cells.
3.Phloem fibres.
4.Phloem parechyma.
