If the HCF and LCM of 2 numbers are 9 and 360 respectively. If one number is 45, find the other.

Solution:-
Let the numbers be A and B.

Given-
HCF = 9
LCM = 360
A = 45
B = ?

As we know the formula,

HCF × LCM = A × B
B = (HCF × LCM) / A
B = (9 × 360) / 45
B = 360 / 5
B = 72

The other number is 72.
