INDIA has a vast variety of flora and fauna inspite of its increasing population.It is the home to  the worlds rarest species of plants and animals . the great one horned rhino  has its habitat in the kaziranga national park.There are other animals also over here like the hullock ,rare species of deers etc.The most famous elephant grass grow over here .Elephant grasses are the worlds largest.They grow so tall that even a man sitting on an elephant  cant be visible in these grasses.The himalayn range is another example.These are the worlds biggest range of mountains.Red Panda,Himalayan Black Bear,musk deer,giant panda are some of the many animals living in the himalayas.Many medicinal plants like celery,thyme,rosemary,lavender etc grow over here.Like these there are many plces which are specially reserved for the flora and fauna to grow in india.
