The frog is arrogant and boastful. When the nightingale sings in front of all the animals, he criticises her and tells her to get training from him . He even says that she'll remain a beginner if she does not listen to his advice. The brainless bird listens to him and starts singing which eventually results in the bursting of her veins and she dies. The frog blames the nightingale for her own death and becomes the unrivalled king of Bingle Bog again
