Hii There!!

________________

1) The milkman add a small amount of baking soda to the fresh milk as Alkaline Medium does not allow milk to turn sour easily.

2) Acids does not show acidic behavior in the absence of water because, in the absence of water they do not dissociate to give H+ ion.

3) Bleaching Powder is the common name of CaOCl2.

1 ) = We usually see that the milk man add small amount of baking soda in fresh milk.

● As we know that baking soda have \textbf{alkaline nature} , when baking soda being added to the fresh milk ( which have pH value 6 ) pH increases from \textbf{6 to slightly alkaline}

● Milk man do to maintain the pH of milk so that the milk will preserve for longer use.

● Hence , a milk man add a small amount of \textbf{baking soda to fresh milk}

2 ) = Acid do not acidic behaviour in the absence of water due to the absence hydrogen ions.

● Hence , the acid shows acidic behaviour in the presence of \textbf{H+ ions}

● And \textbf{hydrogen ions} release ions only in the presence of \textbf{water}

3 ) = Bleaching powder is obtained when \textbf{calcium hydroxide} is treated with \textbf{chlorine gas}

● The common name of \textbf{CaOCl2} is \textbf{bleaching powder}

Thanks !!!!
