  2. HCl + NaCo3= NaCl + H2O + CO2

1) It forms a white ppt. of lead chloride

Pb(No3)2 + 2 HCl = PbCl2 + 2HNO3

2) When sodium thiosulphate is added to hcl, an insoluble ppt. of sulphur is formed. SO2 and H2O are also formed but it is the solid sulphur which has biggest impact.

4. 1) Fe + 2HCL = FeCl2 + H2

2) NaS2 + 2HCl = 2NaCl + H2S

3) Na2SO3 + 2HCL = 2 NaCl + H2O + SO2.
