Dear Diary,

Even though I passed the exam, I'm disappointed that I can't attend the IIT today. I'm unable to advance in my career because of my father's financial issues.

But since I now know that I cannot attend IIT, I must realize that my father is more disappointed than I am because he was unable to provide his son with every educational opportunity.

I must acknowledge the financial problem that my family is currently experiencing, get past it, and begin developing fresh plans for realizing my dreams and goals.
