Life process

Nutrition:- process by which food is transferred from outside to inside the body.

Respiration:- process by which oxygen is transferred from outside to inside the body. Transportation:- process by which food by energy is released from one part to another part of the body.

Excreation:- process by which waste is removed from our body.

There are two types of Nutrition

1 autotrophic nutrition

2 heterotrophic nutrition

1 autotrophic nutrition:

• These are mainly in plants.

• There are organism make their own food.

• In this autotrophic nutrition photosynthesis will fulfill energy requirement.

Photosynthesis:

In this process of leave take sunlight water and CO2 energy to make food this is called photosynthesis.

Steps in photosynthesis:

1 Absorption of light energy by chlorophyll.

2 Conception of light energy to chemical energy and splitting of water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen.

3 Reduction of carbon dioxide to carbohydrates.

6 CO2 + 6 H2o products C6 h12 o6 + 6O2 carbon dioxide water sugar (glucose) oxygen

Exchange of gases in plants by stomata also by surface of roots stems leaves.

Plants get water and minerals from soil absorb water from roots.

Absorption:- supply of similar molecules to different body parts by blood vessels.

Respiration in plant:-

Plant have many intercellular spaces to contact cell in air.

Plant exchange CO2 and O2 by diffusion.
