Given:-

• 5x² - 6x - 2 = 0

To find:-

• Solve the following by complete square method.

Solution:-

Let's do it,

→ 5x² - 6x - 2 = 0

→ x² - (6/5)x - (2/5) = 0

→ (x)² - [2(3/5)x] + (3/5)² - (3/5)² - (2/5) = 0

→ [x - (3/5)]² = (2/5) + (9/25)

→ [x - (3/5)]² = (19/25)

→ x - (3/5) = √19/5

→ x = (3/5) ± √19/5

Hence,

• Roots of the equation are:-

→ x = [3 + (√19)]/5

→ x = [3 - (√19)]/5
