x^2+2x+1=0 (factor which u have given)

x^2+x+x+1=0

x(x+1)+1(x+1)=0

x+1=0,x+1=0

so, x=-1,-1 ----- A

F(x)=3x^3+x^2+2x-3 (given)

F(-1)=3(-1)^3+(-1)^2+2(-1)-3 (from equation A)

= -3+1-2-3

= -6-1

=-7

IF IT IS 0 THEN IT IS FACTOR OF THE GIVEN POLYNOMIAL IT IS-7 SO IT IS NOT.

HOPE IT HELPS....
