3x=y+4=>x=4+y/3

Substitute this value of x in equation (2), we get

4(4+y/3)-3y=9

16+4y-3y=9

y=16-9

y=8

Substitute this value of y in equation (3)

x=4+8/3

x=12/3

x=4

there fore the solution is, x=4,y=8
