Answer:

rim means the outer edge

ap and pb is elastic belt

now op=10 cm

oa=5 cm

use pythagoras theorem to find ap and pb

they are equal

100-25=75

root of 75=ap=pb

now

take sinp

opposite/hypotenuse

we can see that it is 1/2

so p is 30 degrees

So aoc=60 degrees

bop also is 60 degrees

now we have to find the area of the two triangles

and subtract it with the area of the sector given

then u find the shaded area

(they wont give the diagram in the exam)
