Dear Sister:

I hope this mail finds you in vibrant health and buoyant spirits. As you know I have been visiting Andaman and Nicobar archipelago, I am just speechless with the natural beauty of these islands. These islands are a perfect paradise of peace, beauty, recreation, and information. It is said these islands have world’s pristine forests, flowers, birds, and animals. Sandy beaches, water sports, underwater marine life and corals, with crystal clear water and mangrove-lined creeks, adventure tourism like trekking, island camping, snorkeling, scuba diving etc., are the real attractions here.

The islands have connection to India’s war of Independence. The Cellular Jail on the island was constructed to punish our great freedom fighters. In these islands people of all faiths - Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs etc., and of all languages like Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Nicobari etc., live together in complete peace and harmony. There are many beautiful places such as Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park at Wandoor, Sippighat Farm, Chidiya Tapu, the southernmost tip of South Andaman here. While visiting all these places I felt you must also visit these islands once. I am having a wonderful time here. The rest is fine. Give regards to mother and father.

Warm regards,

Varun
